A Sight of Home
"The drawing depicts a green ladscape that slowly transitions into a collection of trees that hide the beginnings of El Avila, the lungs of the city of Caracas, Venezuela. I used a mixture of watercolor paints for atmospheric effects while I drew the trees and grass using watercolor pencils for greater detail. This painting is important to me because I was forced to move from Venezu

"- Billie Eilish logo: I instantly fell in love with this artist and her words. She defines my want be a better me even when life goes the wrong way. - Butterfly: Butterflies start as caterpillars and transform into beautiful creatures. I have gone through a lot of self-growth the past year, and I feel like a caterpillar who has bloomed into a butterfly. - Airplane: I have been blessed to be able to travel the world with my parents and I feel as if, all those travels have cultivated the way I am today. - Air Jordan 1: I started working and the first thing I bought was a pair of Air Jordan 1. I don’t use them; I just keep them as a symbol of hard work. - Hibiscus Flower: Since I am mixed, I have 2 different cultures in which I am Caribbean. Whenever I go to my mom’s hometown in Martinique, we always see these flowers. - Sunset: I love going to the top of my parking lot in my apartment to just watch the sunset. This is where I think the most, I listen to music, make big decisions, and breathe."
