"I decided to portray mental health from the point of view of a person struggling with depression; I presented the contrast between the two hand with one completely naked (the one struggling with depression) and the one blooming with flowers and lights. When struggling with depression it all seems dark and cold but it’s like everyone else in the meantime can keep going with their light on. In today’s society is fundamental to be teaching about mental health and break the stigma around it; unfortunately most people don’t even know what goes through a person with depression’s mind although is the most common mental illness or don’t know what to do or how to help. This is why it’s so important to be educated, the almost touching hands could be together and the light from one could bright the other, that is how much power others can have on us, positive or negative but we have to make sure it’s positive because you could be saving someone’s life without even realizing."

"Clothing and makeup do not define a person on the inside so there should be no judgement towards someone based on their personal preferences in their own physical appearance. Men, women, whoever are allowed to express themselves through their appearances however they choose judgement free."
