Aishite, Aishite, Aishite-Kikou

Night Life
"The piece shows a clash between the old and new styles of design and city planning. Though both styles are harshly divided by a monorail line, the two can coexist harmoniously and enrich their city together. The new buildings simply add on to the successes of the past structures to build up the community further. This piece is a symbol of progress and respect for the past."

The darkness in the light against The light in the darkness
"May 16, 2021. This manga style art was inspired in my favorite manga HxH, which talks about many deep themes like depression, revenge, and friendship. I think this art changed me because it made me realize that even though life can be full of light or darkness there is always either a light at the end of the tunnel, or darkness in the way."

Italian Landscape
"It resembles the countrysides in Italy, and incorporates many intricate details of foliage and small homes. The drawing represents my growing interest in Italy and showcases the simplicity of life surrounded by nature."

A long trip in the field

Distorted Self Image
"This is a self portrait I drew during the summer before 9th grade. During this time I felt very alone and I saw myself shrouded in darkness and negativity. No matter how anyone saw me or how much people would compliment me, I'd see myself this way and I'd feel empty and cold."
